Matthew is EnduRight’s Director of Client Services and is involved with all EnduRight clients. As an amateur athlete, Matthew has directly lived the juggling act non-professional athletes engage in to responsibly balance family, work, social and training commitments. Several years after a successful collegiate swimming and coaching career, he turned to mutlisport as an athletic competitive outlet. Matthew began triathlon balancing a career as a full-time management consultant and husband. Leveraging the endurance coaching knowledge he gained as an athlete and coach, Matthew has developed training programs based on the simple premise of maximizing returns on training time investment.

Prior to his entry into the world of cycling, running and management consulting, Matthew served as an assistant swimming coach at Stanford University (women’s program) and later at Arizona State University (men and women’s programs) working primarily with distance swimmers. Using this premise as the guiding principle in designing his training programs, Matthew’s own personal results have included- Multiple All-American distinctions from USA Triathlon, including his first year of multisport
- Overall and Age Group podium finishes in multisport, swimming and running events
- Qualifying for the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii in his first attempt at the Ironman distance
